This Department mainly engages in the design of and consulting on industrial and civil construction and structural engineering, planning of residential areas, special industrial structures such as mine hoist towers, storages and bunkers, materials transportation corridors, tower poles for high voltage power transmission, cooling towers of power plants, stacks, water supply and drainage structures, and structures and buildings for civil blasting equipment.
The Department currently has 4 senior engineers, ]2 first grade registered architects, ]9 second grade registered architects, and 26 first grade registered structural engineers. Two subsidiaries, Xiamen branch and Wenzhou branch of Zhongshen Construction Design Company, were established in 1984.
Many medium to large-scale industrial and civil construction projects have been designed, covering all industries and over 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. 70 of the designs won national, provincial and ministerial awards and enjoy good reputation in China. Among the recent designs are Desheng Mansion in Xiamen, Chenggong Mansion in Nanan, Hongyu Mansion in Xiamen, Quanzhou Evening-Paper Mansion, Shunjin Mansion in Wenzhou, Yinhai Mansion in Wenzhou, Antai Mansion in Wenzhou, surface buildings and structures of Zhunger Heidaigou surface coalmine, Pingshuo Aniialing Surface Coalmine, Tiefa Santaizi Coalmine¡¯s Coal Preparation Plant, and residential area of Tiefa Santaizi Coalmines of. No.1 and No.2, and Hongyuan Xinju Project in the economical development area of Yangquan City. |
