””””This division mainly engages in design and research of new mine construction and expansion at various stages, general mine layout and underground mining. Meanwhile, we also performs study and consulting services for the development and utilization of coal seam gas, mining under buildings, rail roads and water bodies, prediction of ground subsidence, supporting of soft rock, safety technology, assessment of coal mine geology and development of computer softwares. More than 20 sets of general planning of coal fields have been completed. Over 100 underground mines have been designed and constructed and put into operation, including Jixi Xiaohengshan Mine, the first new underground coal mine independently designed in China, Linxi Mine of Shuangyashan, the first independently designed and constructed coal mine, Taiji Mine of Beipiao, the first mine with shaft over 1,000m in depth, Yangquan Mine No.3, the first mine expansion of an extra-large scale (8Mt/a), Dayan Mine No.3, the first mine designed in accordance with high production and high efficiency and the design has been applied in other coal fields, Santaizi Mine No.1 (1.5Mt/a) of Tiefa, the record holder of the shortest shaft construction time (40 months) in the country. In 1960s and 1970s, we have designed the subway system for the city of Shenyang In recent years, we have completed the design of Lakhra Coal Mine in Pakistan, the design of Anets and Omerler coal mines in Turkey and the development and utilization of coal-seam gas in several coal fields. We have also completed several designs of extra-large scale modern coal mines. Two mine designs won Gold Medals of the National Excellent Design, two won Bronze Medals of the National Excellent Design and many won the Coal Ministry Excellent Designs. One designer was awarded the title of Design Master.
At present, we devote ourselves to the development and research of the technology for exploitation of coal-seam gas and construction of subways and tunnels. |
