This specialty has a history of 50 years, and mainly engages in the design and consulting in ground water control and surface water prevention and treatment in surface mines, performing hydrogeological analysis, design of dewatering and water prevention systems and mine-area flood prevention. We have completed many such projects both in China and abroad such as in Buzhaoba Surface Coalmine, Yuanbaoshan Surface Coalmine, the Coalmine No.1 of Huaneng Yimin Electric-power Company, Huolinhe Surface Coalmine No.1, TIGYIT Surface Coalmine of Myanmar and Shenhua Shengli Surface Coalmine No.1. Two of them won the ministerial level First Prize of Excellent Design.
Main achievements:
¡¤ The control of base karst water in Stage 4 expansion of Xiaolongtan Buzhaoba Surface Coalmine, which won the Coal Ministry¡¯s First Prize of Excellent Design.
¡¤ The Coalmine No.1 of Huaneng Yimin Electric-power Company, which won the First Prize of Excellent Design in the coal industry (ministerial level). All water pumped from the surface mine is used to supply the power plant. It conforms to the state¡¯s energy and environmental protection policies, setting up a ¡°green¡± model of comprehensive utilization of water pumped from surface coalmine.
¡¤ Yuanbaoshan Surface Coalmine, as the coal deposit is abundant in groundwater, the design of dewatering is a critical part of mine design. Through economical and technical comparison, we use pumping wells to lower the water table to meet the requirement of surface mining. Shenhua Shengli Surface Coalmine No.1.Based on its feature of multi-layered aquifers we make use of the flexibility in arranging pumping wells to lower the water table of the Quaternary aquifer and the water bearing layer of Coal Seam No.5. The pumped water is comprehensively utilized. The overall design of Shengli coal field won the Second Prize of Excellent Engineering Consulting Result in the coal industry (ministerial level). |
