In recent years, our institute has carried out extensive technical exchange and cooperation with several countries in an effort to internationalize the institute. Design companies and manufacturing companies from more than 30 countries came to our institute fortechnical exchange, joint design or negotiation for cooperation. Up to now our institute has sent staff abroad for study, investigation and design for more than 1580 man-times.
Projects involving foreign countries and international cooperation projects are as follows:
1. Cooperated with Island Creek company, USA, we completed the design and construction of Antaibao Surface Coal Mine in Pingshuo Mine Region, Shanxi Province.
2. Cooperated with Flour company, USA, we completed the expansion project of Fushun West Surface Mine.
3. Cooperated with Flour company, USA, we completed the feasibility study of Huolinhe Surface Coal Mine No.1.
4. Cooperated with Rheinbraun, Germany, we completed the dewatering project of Pingzhuang Yuanbaoshan Surface Coal Mine.
5. We have independently completed the pre-feasibility study of South Grand River Surface Mine (3Mt/a) of Brazil.
6. We have independently completed the pre-feasibility study of the SIKSIKA surface mine (3Mt/a) of Canada.
7. We have independently completed the design and construction of the TIGYIT surface mine of SHAN YOMA NAGAR CO.,LTD of Myanmar.
8. We have independently completed the pre-feasibility study of the Thar surface coal mine of Pakistan.
9. Cooperated with China Machinery Import and Export Corporation and Park company of Turkey, we have succeeded in bidding for the COLLOLAR surface coal mine of EUAS of Turkey.
10. Cooperated with Polish and Swedish ABB, we have completed the design of the electrical system of production hoists and their installation and commissioning in Daxing, Santaizi Mine No.1 and Santaizi Mine No.2 of Tiefa Mining Bureau.
11. Cooperated with China Machinery Import and Export Corporation, we have completed the pre-feasibility study and preliminary design of the Lakhra coal mine of Pakistan.
12. Cooperated with China Machinery Import and Export Corporation and China National Coal Import and Export Corporation, we have introduced the mine hoists from GHH of Germany and ABB of Sweden, which use the advanced DC and AC converter technology, into China and applied in several mines.
13. Cooperated with Orica of Australia, we have completed the design of Puneimen Explosives Factory in Weihai, Shandong Province and the design of bulk explosive project in Pingshuo.
14. Cooperated with Canava Measuring and System Company, USA, we have completed the design of railroad loading bin of Huolinhe Surface Coal Mine.
15. Cooperated with IPAS of Belgium we carried out the test of performance of the flotation agent Montanol.
In the late 1990s, our institute had participated in bidding for international engineering projects. In recent years our institute have participated in many bidding for international engineering projects independently or in cooperation with other companies, including the hoisting system of Madhapella Quarry of Bengladesh; road and bridge project of Mongolia; heat supply project of Ulanbato of Mongolia; coal-electric power project of Rajasthan of India, and so on.
